Sem Break 2

Went Redbox with the girls and also my old college gang~ on separate days… (that’s why I said, time flies when you are having fun… Money flew even faster… ><)

After going for Redbox with the girls, we lepak around Gurney for a while before going for dinner… and that day, for the first time again, we dined at Harvest Inn! wee~ :D

Had brunch at Bagan Jermal’s kopitiam before going over for Redbox~

messing around again~ in Redbox~ had lots of fun! XD

Thousand thanks to my bro who directed me through phone on how to get there… and with a little afford from the 5 of us… we managed to reach the cafe/restaurant! :D the environment is really nice~ BUT reservation is a MUST to make before going over else you will be having trouble trying to get a table! Yes, the place is selling like hot cakes! :O Nevertheless, with its cosy environment, good food with a satisfying portion along with a reasonable price… it is an understatement on how laku the place is… XD

All 5 of us with our respective dishes~ ^^ you can choose to go for set or ala carte as well! For set, it includes a drink and dessert~ :)

oh oh! and we gave Oonie her early birthday present on that day as well! :D

Last but not least, 2 more outings with the P&H gang!!! ^^ went over to Redbox again… with them instead… and can say that our time was extended until 8pm! Imagine we actually stayed in that room from 2pm until 8pm! woots! Went over to 600cc for dinner later on… :D

Get to know a new friend on that day too! ^^

Last outing~ Bowling + pool! wee~~~ :D this time, knew an extra friend as well… and also, BG joined us (finally! ) haha… it was exciting too! went over to Penang Bowl for bowling before heading over to Prangin Mall for dinner and 1st Avenue for a couple rounds of pool! ^^

Thus, I must say… I had one hell of a good time in Penang during my last sem break~ So many things I’ve done with so many close friends of mine… More memories were created… Memories which will always make me smile whenever I reminiscence…

I ♥ and cherish everyone of you~ you all really made my day may it rains or shines… ^^

Oh ya! I did went for another gathering… NS gathering at New World Park… But I did not take any pics though… Unfortunately, on that day, a slight problem appeared… let’s just say I was already half expecting it… =.=’’’ other than that, that night went fine… :)

Lastly, wanna congratulate myself… For successfully achieving something which I have promised myself last year! woots! ^^V though I admit it was not easy at ALL… still, I did it!!! yay! :D

Sem Break

I’ve abandoned my blog again… I guessed I’ve given in to lazyness WAY too much recently. ><

Anyway, here I am update it to prevent it from growing any more spider webs. ahem ahem… Allow me to talk about what I did during my semester break. Although it was just a short 3 weeks break, I had much more fun than I ever did when I am in KL. (money also flew faster unfortunately. ><)

Ok… Let’s start with the very first outing after I went back to Penang…

Breakfast and lepak with the girls! ^^

Went over to McD for breakfast before going over to 1st Avenue for some window shopping and Chatime! wee~ :D

It was a short outing as Oonie has work later afternoon and yy has yet to reach Penang by that time.

Went over to Logos Hope Floating Book Fair on that sat with Yan and Oonie, too! the fair was kind of small to me and the books? I don’t know but somehow they didn’t interest me much as most of the novels are classics… We did “practice” some of the scene of William Shakespeare's play though… It was sold there as well…

Before leaving the ship, we even messed around with the story on the walls… XDD

Went over to pay Oonie’s kitties a visit as well~ hehe…

Moving on~ to Moepa Autumn Sharin Workshop day!!! wee~ ^^ that day was seriously fun! A memory worth keeping~ ^^ Well, the girls and I along with my sis met up for Tim Sum before going over for the workshop~ yumm~ hehe…

Upon reaching the ballroom where they held the event, we saw lots of cosplayers too! ^^ In that workshop, they taught us how to apply make up to make our face look thinner… From a mooncake to a sunflower seed… haha… Followed by how to mention your wig and keeping it properly~

Saw the mysterious hooded man… O.O and also, Yan’s doppeldanger? XD

Anyway, there was a mini competition held on that day, Guess the song title, and to our delight, Yan had won! >3< She got herself a small Miku figurine! O.O

After the workshop has ended, we went over to Straits Quay for jalan jalan while waiting for our dinner time…

And on that day, for the very first time, we girls had a steamboat gathering!!! wee~~~ ^^ although only 5 of us were there… >< the other 3 can’t make it… :X Anyways, we had a tremendous load of fun that night~ with all jokes, crap and laughter in between meals… we did talk about our college life, uni life as well… sharing and exchanging info on our lifes… updating one another… :) Time really flies when you were having fun… hehe…

Just today, when I was reading the latest post of My Women Stuff, I was “introduced” to a type of exotic food known as the Philippine's delicacy, Balut. As the post was about ParisB’s experience on trying something out of the ordinary, Your Say: What’s the Strangest Thing You’ve Ever Eaten? , curious as I was, I read on the comments left by the readers on that post about the exotic foods that they have tried.

There are all sorts of foods like monkey brain, deep fried insects, flying fox and etc. Can say that I have heard most of these before through words of mouth and also being a Chinese, these exotic “delicacies” (that’s what they call) common to be heard of. Of course, I have heard of them but not tried any of it before. Will I try if I was given the chance? well… I guess that depends… X)

However, while I was reading the comments, I stumbled upon a delicacy known as Balut… At first I choose to ignore it but after several comments,there was a short discussion on that delicacy, I decided to find out what it is actually. So, I went and consult my know-it-all guru, Google, for the answer. My head was filled with question marks to see images of egg shaped creatures appeared under the Google Image section.

At first, I was puzzled as the images were small and not really clear. After I clicked on one of that image, I was really speechless. The egg shaped creatures are actually half formed foetus of a duck! It’s like the foetus already has a beak of its own, bones were well developed and some even have feathers on it already!!!

Balut is eating the egg boiled but instead of getting your usual egg white and egg yolk, you get an unborn duck foetus instead… or in some places, unborn chicken foetus… I tell you, the images themselves spoke more than enough for me in description of the delicacy. As I set my eyes on the image, there was only one word that appeared in my head to describe this. Gruesome! Nothing less.

Imagine a life which was about to form… about to see the world outside it’s shell, was killed even before it has the chance to break free from the darkness to see the light… Yes, it was killed in the darkness without the chance of knowing how the world is like and not even have the chance to open its eyes… Seriously, this is one exotic “delicacy” that I will avoid trying. The thought of it is cruel enough, I don’t think I can even bear to see it let alone to eat it.

Although it might not be a human foetus (touchwood), still it is a foetus nevertheless. An unborn. =/

Can’t-be-describe-in-one-word Day

I know the title is long but I’ve run out of creative or the appropriate title for this post… >< Anyways, today was seriously weirdly funny or funnily weird? erm… I think I’ll leave the judging to you readers… ~.~

First of all, I regret not going over to KLCC yesterday… Why? Cause there’s a Book Fair organised by Popular in conjunction with The International Book Day… T.T Book Fair aka lots and LOTS of discounts on good books!!!

Unfortunately, since the main reason I was there today was to take the bus home so I don’t get to roam around the fair for long… But then again, I managed to get myself a novel… XD The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks… which claims to be one of the best sellers…

Since the price dropped from RM35 to RM24 nett, I decide to give this a try… Hope it’s good… XD Won’t be reading it so soon yet as I’m currently reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown… That book is thick and I have so far read 40% of the overall… Haven’t even reach the climax yet (I think)! ><

But so far, the storyline is interesting… A lot of interesting facts on some general knowledge and somehow, it makes you feel like wanting to study symbology and also ancient history…

Last year, I got myself a Dan Brown’s novel, The Deception Point, when I was at that Popular Book Fair… That book was good… Although some of the descriptions on some parts are pretty confusing and hard to understand, the overall was ok… I’m not sure whether the theories mentioned are true or not but they sure make a lot of sense… As in it really combined nicely like jigsaw puzzle pieces… X)

This novel though, has a different main character, not Robert Langdon… If I’m not wrong, it is one of the very first novel written by Dan Brown… The book focused on one of the US elections and also the existence of extra-terrestrial life…

Ok… I got carried away with books… >< Anyways, due to this Book Fair, I was almost late for the bus! Luckily when I reached, I still have 5 minutes to spare… Was literally banging everyone along the way… ~.~ felt a lot like some clumsy, irresponsible main actress of some chick movie… ><!

So yeah… That’s how my day went… wakakaz…

City Hunter~

Recently began to develop a liking towards Lee Min Ho after being introduced to City Hunter~ >w< But nevertheless, Kim Hyun Joong is still my number 1~~~ XDD

Ahh~ I love love loveee the couple in that drama! So compatible and cute~ >w< sweet hor? sweet hor? XD and and… it seems that they are actually dating too! ahahaa~~~ they have my blessings~

I’m still in my exam week… but fear not! For I have one more paper to go and freedom here I come!!! woots~~~

But then again, 21st Sept (of all dates to choose! ~.~ Saw, u better make sure one of ur birthday wish is for me to score my exams with flying colours! ><!) will be known as the Judgement Day! as it will be the day the results are out! >< pray hard pray hard~ ><

crap… I have one more paper left but somehow I’m in a semi-holiday mood already!… oh God… >< I guess, enough of fantasy nonsense… time to bury myself back into reality and books… Best of luck to those who are taking their exams as well! >:D

Ultimate Revive

I know… I’ve abandoned my blog for way too long… Or shall I say, this is the first time, I actually stopped blogging for like… more than a month? ~.~

What made me stop? laziness!!! so it’s not that I don’t have anything to blog about but it’s just pure laziness… wakaka…

To be frank, I have lots to talk about… So many stuff that I don’t know where to start! >< hhhmm… let’s see… Shall I talk about this year’s Bon Odori first? Or the day I got my Korean husband’s album? Or how torturous I was during the past few weeks with assignments, interim report and finals (currently suffering from finals!!! wail~ T.T)? Or shall I complaint on my progress on the very first paper today? Or the day I went over to Dreamz Bakery?

Urgh! … Tough choice… >< I can’t decide! erm… I think I shall leave the latest for the last… >< So… Bon Odori it shall be!

Last month (exactly one month ago… ><) I went back to Penang just to catch the Japanese Festival, Bon Odori with my girlfriends and sis too! XD and and… Thanks to this festival, I, yours truly, can proudly officially announce that I know how to wear a Yukata and tie a real Obi~!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

In fact, during the festival, a Japanese lady who asked to take a picture of us was impressed that we wear our yukatas by ourselves! She said that it was nicely worn~ My sis and I learnt it from Youtube… and along with some practice~ ohoho~ ♥

It was definitely fun with the girls that night… Had lots of fun with laughter and crap~ XD I wore fake lashies for the very first time too! (Oonie was suppose to wear it too but she ppk-ed me last minute… ><)

PS: since I was wearing a Yukata, I must say… the way I walked that day was very feminine (I had to walk in small steps and not the usual “fast and furious” walking style)… Something which I doubt will ever happen if it wasn’t for the Japanese traditional costume… ~.~

Bugged

It’s been ages since I last update my blog… Well, the fact that I hardly have the mood to blog is one of the reasons behind this… I mean I do have inspiring moments but those moments often occur at weird times… Normally, those thoughts come when I’m out buying dinner or when I’m on my way back home… Thus, when I’m back home, I seldom have the mood to blog anymore… Not like there’s anything different happened in my life that I felt enthusiastic to share about…

nope… my life right now is quite dull and predictable with the same usual daily routine… Other than the fact that I have some problems and issues to face and to solve which gave me an extra weight on my shoulders right now… my life is pretty much the same… For now, there’s nothing much that I’m looking forward to but to hope that this weight will be removed soon… At least at that time, I don’t have to feel so heavy anymore… haiz…

but I believed the best is yet to come and that good things come to those who wait… so yeah… I’ll just hang in there until the mess is cleared…

Self Pampering

Hey, ppl! After a period of MIA, I’m finally back again! XD and this time, I’m here to share my very first experience of going for a manicure and pedicure treatment!

My friend and I went to The Olivia Nail Spa located at PJ area~ My friend was interested in this discount offered by the Groupon Malaysia website and tagged me through fb on it (since I did mention that I’d like to try out manicure and pedicure treatment as I’d never done it before)~

The Groupon that we bought entitle us a 90 minutes Paraffin Spa Mani-Pedi for only RM38 (NP: RM138)! So off we went for the treatment~

The Olivia Nail Spa~

As it was my very first time entering a nail parlour, I was filled with much excitement and much curiousity of the whole thing. Upon reaching the place, the manicurists asked us to pay a visit to the washroom first as the process will be very time consuming and toilet breaks are a no-no…

Then the paraffin treatment started off with the normal stuff like trimming of your nails, removing the current nail polish on your finger and toe nails, scrubbing off the dead skin cells and dirt… It was very comforting as you just have to sit there and be treated like a queen… =P The people there are friendly too! thumbs up for that~

I dare say, for the first few minutes or 1 hour, I was practically quiet… I did nothing but merely stared at my feet while they were getting trimmed, nail polish removed, and scrubbed… Why? cause I was overwhelmed by the whole thing… like the thought of me actually having MY manicure and pedicure was speechless… lols… I know I sound like a hillbilly but that was exactly how I felt! >_< It was like a kid looking at her mother cook her favourite dish with close attention… XD

Besides getting our nails cleaned, the dead cells around our feet are removed and cleaned as well~ which had me laughing as my feet are sensitive to touch… the manicurist laughed at me as well… >< hehe… not only that, foot and hand massage were included too! A blue colour scrubbing gel was used to scrub off all the dead cells and dirt from our legs and hands… followed by a touch of sweet scent lotion~ ah~ pampered~

Feet were being soaked in warm water during the before-paraffin-wax-treament

After that, our feet and hands are coated with a thin layer of paraffin wax (it was kind of hot for me so I was practically shouting “ouch~” repeatedly… embarrassing, I know… =.=) before wrapping them up and covering them with big “socks” and “gloves”. This is to allow the wax to cage in truant moisture, resulting in soft velvety skin~

We looked like babies with the pink “socks” and “gloves”

So we sat there with our hands and feet wrapped for quite some time before they are removed… Then the excess wax was removed and a little process of cleaning up on the toes were done before they proceed to paint our nails~! While waiting for the toe nails to dry, they carried on with removing the wax from our hands and did the same thing.

After our nails were painted, we were asked if we liked to design our nails with various nail arts and design available there… So, yeap, we did opt for nail art on all of our finger nails and also on both of our biggest toe nails! hehe!

The result? tah-dah~!

The price of nail art range from RM3 to RM10 per nail depending on the complexity of the design you want~ Some are drawn and some are stick ons… =)

Overall, I’d say:

This is a very nice and memorable experience for me… Had fun~ =DD
The manicurists are real lovely and friendly people~ even my friend agreed with me…
Will I consider coming again? Of course~ =) (but not so soon cause the only thing holding me back is money~ I’m broke… cheap meals everyday from now on! ><)
But then again, the place is quite far from where I’m staying so (if it wasn’t for my friend.. thankies!) transport is also a problem… but if there’s a will there’s a way no?

PS: the manicurist complimented on my water marbling design saying that it was really pretty for a beginner when she was removing my nail polish (yes, ppl… my water marbling nail design stayed on for quite a long time! ^^V)~ *proud of myself*

PPS: oh yeah~ they do offer classes on nail arts and designs too! ^^

It has been 10 days since June came and I had not write a SINGLE post under this month yet… So here I am, updating my blog for the sake of not leaving it to the spider webs.

My life has been pretty boring recently… Didn’t go shopping malls for windows shopping at all for the past 2 weekends! boohoo! X( Although, I managed to watch X-men First Class…

Other than that, life just goes on with the boring daily routine… Although there are laughter and craps occasionally during class, that was all… So yeah, my life currently spells B-O-R-I-N-G… and that made me no mood to study… =.=

Oh well, I do have stuff to review though but sadly, the pics taken are not nice enough or no pics were taken of them yet… =X Anyways, this weekend will be much better… Atleast there’s something for me to look forward to~ wee~ ^^ Maybe by then, I’ll have something more to share… =D

Water Marbling!

In my previous post, I did mention that I’ve always wanted to get my hands on OPI nail polishes right? Well, there is a reason behind this “want” which is to try on water marbling nail design!!! ^^V

It was quite some time ago that I was introduced to this unique way of designing nails by a friend of my sis who posted the outcome of her attempt. From the time, I saw it I was like “omg! I wanna try it too!” So there I was, watching several videos on the tutorial for water marbling… It was so interesting! But! There is a catch to this unique nail design… which is NOT every type of nail polish can be used to achieve this look.

I didn’t know that until I tried it using the nail polishes that I have… None of them worked! The brands that I’ve tried on are:

Silky Girl
Skin Food
Majolica Marjorie

Note: I’m not sure about Majolica’s though as I have only one nail polish from that brand… So I can’t guarantee ya… =)

Disappointed, I asked my sis’s friend about it and she told me the same thing: not every nail polish can be used for this… In fact, the nail polishes that can guarantee this design are those branded nail polishes like Sally Hansen and OPI…

So now that I finally got myself a set of OPI nail polishes, I had achieved one of my to-do’s! wee~ ^^

Ta-dah~! As the colours of the nail polish are in pastel shade, the design looks softer~ =) come to think of it, they look like candy~!

And the mess I made for creating this nail design:

Messy huh? >_<

There are a few things which you have to take note of while doing water marbling:

Make sure your surrounding is not windy (the polish will dry up very quickly)
Have to be fast when you dot your nail polish (Don’t have to close the nail polish lid tight after every drop… That will slow you down alot… Don’t worry, the nail polish(in the bottle) won’t dry up so quickly)
Make sure you have tonnes of cotton buds, Q-tips and nail polish remover by your side (to clean up unexpected mess)
Practice makes perfect! =D (Don’t worry if initially it looks weird or “cacat”(retarded), you’ll get better as you go along… )
It’s ok if the pattern you get for every nail is inconsistent… Inconsistent is a part of art~
If possible, do NOT use a plastic cup as the acetone from the nail polish can cause a hole on it…

Movie outing~

Despite the fact that Fast 5 had already went on screen since the beginning of May, yours truly here only managed to watch it by today! Which was just now with one of her buddies~ Luckily there was someone who share the same fate as I do else I think I won’t be able to watch this movie until the DVD comes out. >_<

Overall, I would rate the movie: 5stars!!! It was definitely worth watching! very exciting and cool! It' occasionally have you sitting at the edge of your chair! (ok, maybe I’m being a little too sarcastic) but then again! To be honest, to compare this and Pirates of Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, I would go for Fast 5… It has more action… and and… hot guys with hot bodies!!! (for the girls~ XP) and hot sexy chicks for the guys~ ahaha… XD

Note: I really love the combination of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock in this movie… It makes the movie whole lot cooler!!! *like like!!* XDD

Anyway, went over to Watsons to stock up my stuffs as I’ve run out of some… >_< and something unexpected happened… lols… Something so hill billy that I had not done before… ok, here is how the scenario goes:

As I was queuing up to buy the tickets, a advertisement with the POC’s symbol and blue ocean caught my eyes which then led me to the words stated:

And being a girl who loves shopping, generally the 20% discount rate shines like a ray of Sun had fall upon it… making it look so holy~ haha… BUT! It is only applicable for POC movie AND it has to be a GSC ticket… That really made my heart sank! Cause,for 1, I had already watched POC during the last weekend and 2, it was at TGV instead of GSC! >_< so yeah… I was disappointed as O.P.I. nail polishes are expensive and I’ve always wanted to try them out!

Anyway, I still share the offer with my buddy when she arrived and then an idea hit us… which is, to take the ticket from someone who watched it on that day! So yeah, there goes our “marvellous” idea. At first we planned to asking those who are going in for the 9.30pm movie but then again, since POC did screened at 7pm, we decided to give it a shot by waiting at the exit of the cinema instead.Very hill billy-ish I know… But we were charmed by the cute little nail polishes in the set that we decided to try our luck!

Found them near the bin NOT IN the bin… XD

It was quite hard at first as we do not know the actual cinema room that screened POC at 7pm and what’s more was that the GSC at Pavilion had 2 exits. So yeah, we were waiting from exit to exit, asking people randomly what movie they were watching, for about 40 minutes. Then, that was when we finally caught hold of those who watched the POC movie. Unfortunately, the guy that we asked had thrown away his ticket… So it was a failure but we decided to go into the cinema and try our luck hoping to find a ticket on the floor or something… It turned out that the cleaners were faster than us… so fail again… After we got out from the cinema, yy decided to search around the bin and true enough! there were 2 tickets of POC available at the side of the dustbin (pic above)… so wee!!!! mission accomplish… haha! XDD

As we were laughing feeling satisfied with the fact that we tried, we walked towards the O.P.I. shop and bought our set!

The salesgirl was already keeping up the items when we reached but we still managed to get our mini sets! =D

tah da! My very first set of nail polish from O.P.I. and I won’t forget how I got it~ XD

Can say that Angry Birds, which was once just a game in mobile phones are becoming more and more popular already~ It’s like even the plushies of the birds and pigs are in the market! The fever over Angry Birds is on!!! XDD

Actually, right now, at this instance, I have to complete my proposal BUT somehow, I ended up here. =.= I guess important, boring matters always make me swayed away.

Anyway, It’s been ages since I last update my blog. I had LOTS to blog about but lack of inspiration and was filled with laziness… Gee… I’m getting lazier by the day… >_< crap… So, yeah… Back to my title… I’ve finally able to try dining at Jogoya~ =D It’s a Japanese restaurant located at Starhill Gallery, Bukit Bintang. It’s at the opposite of Pavilion and at the left (If you were look at it from Pavilion) of Fahrenheit 88.

Went with my family on the weekend before my new semester starts~ The price? It costs a bomb! >_< with RM98++ per person but I forgot to mention, it is all-you-can-eat buffet style~ wee!!! XDD

Overall, it was worth a try~ I don’t mind going there again though… but sadly, my pocket will have a hole if I do… haha… life as a student has its cons… >_<

I know… my blog is dead for these past few days/weeks… it’s not that I don’t have anything to blog about… In fact, I have tonnes of stuff to blog on but… was not in my cheery optimistic mood… was worried with this and that and surrounded by negative energy and all… haiz… it felt like hell, alright… =/

Anyway, I felt much better already now that one of my major problems is solved~ =) so, I think I shall start with… erm… my advanced surprise bday party!!! wee~~ =D

It was held at Berjaya Hotel on a Sunday before I came back to KL… My mum told me that it was a family celebration but it turned out to be… more than that! lols… I was really shocked and surprised when I reached the hotel as I spotted some of my college friends in the lobby holding onto a BIG box tied with a ribbon… I was like… omg!!!!

After that, I went into the restaurant only to find my former supervisor and colleague were there as well~ followed by my sampat girl friends… and of course, my family together with my relatives~ Can say that I was so happy that I didn’t eat much… I guessed happiness had fed me enough… XD

10 things I wanna do~ =P

Blogger is back! X) I know I have been MIA-ed for the last few days as I had run out of things to blog and inspiration was not helping either… ^^" Since there is nothing for me to update about… I shall share the 10 things I wanna do when I have the money! XD Since I’m still a student, there’s always a budget constraint as you don’t wanna spend your parent’s hard-earn money for your own pampering no? :D

So for now, I can only set these as goals!!! That is until... I have a career and a steady income to spend! XD

Allow me to present the 10 things I want to do when I have the money~

(caution: it may be very materialistic! Read at your own risk… =P)

First of all~

Pamper myself with French mani and pedicure at least once every month~! X) and maybe go for nail art occasionally! =D

Second~

Visit the spa~ pamper myself with facials, scrubs, body massage~ Anything for my self-relaxation… XD

Third~

Collect as many miniature perfumes as possible! They have to be authentic of course! XD

Fourth~

Explore the world of makeup and skincare~ Buy organic cosmetics and also good skin care products~ try try try! XD

Fifth~

Go shopping at fashion paradise! Like Milan, Hong Kong, Paris~ XD

Sixth~

Try Macarons at Pierre Hermé's and also Ladurée’s~ for they are famous for this little delicacy in France~ ^^

Seventh~

*Just an example~ not the ones that I’m aiming for now… XD

To own at least one limited edition piece of Chanel’s or Burberry… XD

Eighth~

Spacious!!! XD

The kitchen of my house has to be BIG filled with complete set of kitchen utensils!!!! So that I can cook and bake to my heart’s content! XD

Have a memorable and special wedding that I’ll never forget~ XD It’s every girl’s dream, no? =P It’s a once-a-life-time thing so of course it has to be memorable~ =)

Travel around the world~! Woo~~~ XP Japan is a MUST! I wanna witness the blooming of the Sakura Trees~ Wanna see the Sakura flowers for real~ X)

Guilty indulgence

Went over to Gurney a few days back to join Style Yourself Up! contest organized by Mango at their outlets. Thanks to Plus Size Kitten else I won’t know about its existent. =P Anyways, before going over, I stopped by The Body Shop to get myself a bottle of cleanser (previous one was already used up). End up going for the Tea Tree Oil cleanser and also its lotion as it is more for blemish skin (yeah… I have oily skin… >_<).

The brand that I used previously was Purenavi Foaming Facial Wash which I got for free from a contest that I joined in FB~ XD It was the “Singles Rulez the World” contest organized by Eternity Malaysia and Watsons. That cleanser was nice to use and I like the fact that it was pumped out in mousse form. The feeling after using it was refreshing and its suitable for all skin types. Feel free to give it a try. ;)

Anyways, I did not continue using Purenavi as I was in the mood of trying something new… X) So yeah, changing to Tea Tree Oil Cleanser for now… Lucky for me, when I went over, there is promotion where the prices for all skincares (cleanser, toner, moisturizer and lotion) are RM39 flat! XD

Can say that it was effective and I heart the lotion! Why? Cause the lotion doesn’t make your skin feel all sticky and oily after you’ve applied it. In fact, it made your skin feels softer and smoother~ X) Not just that, after applying the lotion in the morning, my face is less oily and the effect lasts me the whole day! Wee! XD However, when I apply it, my skin does feel slightly hot though… >_< but other than that, it was good. Credits go to ParisB for the review on this product! =D

Bought a sleeveless top at Mango as well after the photo shoot thingy as I got 5% discount from joining that contest… =P the discount was valid for that day itself only… So overall, I hate to say it but yeah, I spent over RM100 for that day~ ^^” But at least the stuff I bought was something that I need so it is still good, right? Right? =P

Stuff that I bought that day~ just only these 3 costs me RM1xx~ >_<

I went to bed surprisingly early last night at 10.30pm. Normally I’m a night person where I’ll stay up until midnight or later. >_< But recently, that habit of mine cannot be continued anymore. Why? Cause I’m suffering from the effects due to the lack of sleep. Since I’m doing my interns, I have to wake up at 6.30am every morning in order to reach the office on time and also to avoid traffic jams.

Imagine sleeping at 1am to 2am every night and ~~crawling out~~ getting out of bed at 6.30am! The effects from lack of sleep include: I find it hard to concentrate on whatever I was doing… It felt like my head was screaming at me in the morning… Urgh! It felt terrible. Also, my skin complexion gotten from bad to worse! And… my mood is badly affected by this… So bye-bye late nights!

I do put on mask occasionally but depending on mask alone can’t improve on my skin’s complexion can it? No. You need plenty of water and SLEEP to chip in as well. Speaking about mask, I’m using the masks from My Beauty Diaries recommended by Tenny (come to think of it, I just only realized that Tenny and I shared the most when beauty products and skincare are concerned… XD) I bought 8 pieces with different flavours before and it got me hooked onto it since then. Every flavor has their own “characteristics” like some are for skin brightening purpose, minimizing your pore size, oil-control and the list goes on.

I bought a dozen more when I was at Gurney Plaza about a month ago. A lot huh? Since they are effective and discount is given if you buy a dozen, why not? =P

The remaining of my 12 pieces of masks~

One thing I liked about the masks is that they are sold at a fairly reasonable price (RM3.00~RM3.50… depends on where you buy them… KL is of course, slightly more expensive…). The bad thing about the masks is that all of their descriptions are written in Chinese! (excluding the ingredients) Yeah, I know it’s from Taiwan but the Chinese characters are minutely small! Not to mention, they are printed in reflective silver ink… which makes reading them even harder… >_< Still, the effect of the mask is what matters most right? So I guess, small problems like this can be ignored… Worse comes to worse, use a magnifying glass the next time you wanna read their “characteristics”! =P

Out of so many flavours, I liked the Aloe Vera mask the most! As it gives a really refreshing feel and its scent is not so strong… Don’t really like those with strong scent as they will leave that scent on my pillows at night when I sleep. ^^”

Recently, I did come across a forum where they sell Beauty Diaries' makeup removal sheets too! Unfortunately, they have run out of stock... =( Any idea where to get them? O.o Btw, beware of fake masks! I just found out from another blog about this... So do check it out, k? =) *the link* prevention is always better than cure~ *wink*

They have this new series, the Macaron Mask... Sounds nice... I think I'll go and get one to give it a try... =P There goes my money, again... Teehee!

PS: I plan to leave late nights for weekends and friday nights only! weekdays are not allowed anymore... at least not when I'm still doing my interns... =P

My Weekend~

There was this event which was held at Penang Times Square during the weekends. It was Galaxy & Youth Carnival where there were several activities held for both Saturday and Sunday. I did not participate in any of the activities organized but I heard that there were Amazing Race, Paintball and etc. Those activities were held at the open ground of Times Square whereas there was a Dance Competition being held inside Times Square at the center court of the building.

The main reason I went there was for the Cosplay event. My sis wanted to cosplay for both days and so, there I was tagging along, becoming her driver and photographer. >_< Anyways, since the Cosplay competition was held on Sunday, Saturday was not very happening for the cosplayers as not many hang around for long (or maybe it’s because we arrived late that day… ^^”).

The whole gang of cosplayers posing for the camera on Sat… But most of them left shortly after that…

However, Sunday’s event was a blast! The atmosphere was much more different and it felt livelier. Since there was a cosplay competition, lots of cosplayers turned up and stayed on longer! That was also because the whole competition lasted for 5 hours, 2pm to 7pm. Had lots of fun while I was there, alright! It somehow reminded me of the Cultural Fair that was held in USM during the month of February. XD

By looking at people cosplaying, it somehow showed their enthusiasm and how much they enjoyed, allowing themselves drowned into the character that they cosplayed as.

Like the president of a cosplay club, he got himself into an accident awhile ago and thus he had to seat on a wheel chair but that certainly did not stop him from doing what he likes! He did cosplay on that day too! In fact, he even crossplayed as Miku, a girl character! He even sang “1000 words” from Final Fantasy XII! He sang it beautifully for a guy… and somehow, you can feel his passion through his singing and his dressing up…

Thumbs up for him! =)

(note: When the person cosplayed a character of opposite sex, it’s known as crossplay instead of cosplay)

One thing I love about cosplay events is that you get to see your favourite Anime characters come to live! And what’s more is that, the atmosphere certainly doesn’t make you feel freaky of yourself for the hobby (cosplay) you have… Instead, it’s like a day with fantasy away from reality… ;)

Was blog hopping a few days ago when I came across a post where the blogger blog about the products from Majolica Majorca… The blusher that the blogger bought was very cute, alright! It was the size of a macaroon with a very small puff which is used to apply the blusher…

notice the little puff there? Cute, no?

I remembered the very first time I heard about this brand was from Tenny during one of our outings a few years back… The packaging for this brand is very unique and cute! Since cosmetic was not what I had in mind, I bought its bottle of pink nail polish instead and it was good… X)

I got the PK413 colour~ =)

(PS: this pic is “borrowed” from some random blog that google gave me… =P too bad that blogshop is for Singaporeans only though… ><)

Anyway, one of the blogger did recommend its single pack eye shadow saying that the texture and the quality is awesome! (The price is RM20.90… Cheap in a way but I’m still hesitating… >_<”) hhhmm… Should I? Should I not? I hate making decisions like this… @.@ But I’m quite curious with the 4 in 1 eye shadow pack too… It’s RM59.90 much expensive in whole but cheaper in sense that each colour costs me an approximate of RM15 only… I wonder are they good… Any idea? O.o

Makeup~

Makeup… something that I love to explore… XD Can say that I’ve been fond of it since a few years back but I was not allowed to buy any of those as I was still in secondary school… Mum was like “Focus on your studies first! Beauty later!” >_< yeah… So there goes my chance of exploring… Besides, my friends at that time are not really interested in these kind of stuffs as well which somehow influence me too. I dare say that I seldom groom myself during those years except the way I dress. Still, it too was a seldom thing as I was quite lazy when it comes to this… Not to mention, I had lack of confidence last time… A very low-esteem girl I was… =X Even until I entered college, I did not bother to groom myself up at all! XP

These are not mine.. just found it from the web… =)

I’m currently using Kanebo’s Lunasol Party Coffret 2010 set~ =)

But things got better as I grow… Thanks to one of my closed friends during college, her encouragement for me whenever we go shopping really gave my confidence a boost! Not to mention, there are some incidences happened which triggered me adding even more confidence as well… XD Besides, this little girl is growing up! Which means it is time for a change… =P

One thing about makeup is that it can make your face look fresh and also flawless... But this depends on the personal preference, too... Like me, I do put on makeup occasionally but I apply them at a humble amount… I prefer to go for a more natural look… (I know putting on makeup means it’s not natural anymore) but my concept of more natural look is that… my skin will be flawless and I look more energetic and lively. Yeah. That’s my definition of natural. XD

So far, I did not try the extreme yet though… Like eye liner, I always draw on my upper lid only and leave the lower lid alone. I think did try to draw my lower lid before but it was a pure epic failure! And no, I certainly don’t plan to end up looking like Ju-On… >_< maybe I’m still a newbie and that more practice is required first! Anyway, the amount of makeup that I put on for outings depends on my mood. X)

Sometimes I’d just apply concealer with a thin layer of powder (just to blend the concealer well) followed by using an eyeliner for a more energetic look. Sometimes, when I have more time and is in the mood to play around with makeup, I’ll apply blush and eye shadow as well… But like I said, I usually apply them in a humble amount so most of the time, it is not noticeable especially in photos… XD

One sad thing to add, I have very light eyebrows… so light that when I apply makeup, I have to draw them using an eyebrow pencil else it won’t look so nice which I hate a lot … >_< Mum did suggest going for permanent eyebrow tattoo but it is a no-no for me… to draw eyebrows is already weird enough for myself imagine going for permanent!

But then again, sad to say, eyebrows are a must for me to draw… And since I’m still a newbie, the eyebrows drawn sometimes end up very… erm… thick… and dark! =.= So yeah, I think if I wanna do a full make up on myself… I have to allocate a minimum of an hr for this! Not to mention, putting on makeup is an occasional thing for me so there goes my amount of practice… XP

But frequently, I do visit blogs and youtube on makeup in order to learn more about it… That was how I started learning everything too… XD

PS : for blogs… I find this one is very informative not just for makeup stuff but also skincare~ but one bad thing is that most of the products introduced are quite pricey… ><” so I just read no buy… X)

For youtube… I’ll always go for Michelle Phan’s videos! They are simple and nice~ Not boring too! ^^ But of course, by the end of the day, you’ll still need to practice in order to make yourself better… Practice makes perfect~ =)

Just changed my blog’s template… XD It was giving me a hard time alright! Why? Because there is an unnecessary element added to it which annoys me ALOT! Thanks to that element, 5 of my most recent posts will appear twice… =.=’’

Was very pek cek (fed up) with the problem… ><

Called Saw up about this and she suggested changing the template back to the classic one so I tried but to no avail~ T.T In the end, I gave up… Decide to look into the html coding instead… Thank God it is user friendly so I didn’t need to take much time before I found out the problem… After deleting that subprogram of codes… Taadaa! ^^ settle liao~ =D

Nice no? and one thing, I think some of you will be very happy about is that… It is no more pinky-poo! XD Decide to have a new fresh template and somehow, this one caught my eye.. so yeah… will be sticking to this one for now… =D

Today was not a good day... Atleast, it did not have a good start... =.= Woke up with a swollen left eye!! but luckily, my fringe is long enough to cover it so yeah... I became Spooky Kitaro for one day at work... >_<

Anyway, as I mentioned in my previous post, I no longer get to log onto fb cause it has been blocked by the company already. T.T Luckily blogspot is still accessible so be prepared... My blog may be floated with tonnes of posts for this month... =P

It's not that I'm trying to find ways to laze around and abandon my work but one thing about me, I get bored easily when workload is concerned. Even when I'm getting my assignments done or even homework during college, I'll either blast the room with music and sing my lungs out (no, I don't think my housemates can hear it... I sing but not THAT loud.. >_<) or I'll "ronda" around Facebook once a while... These little things can really leave up my mood and somehow motivate me to continue whatever task I'm doing... Oh and of course, blogging is one of the little tasks as well... X)

Can say that I'm very lucky to be doing my interns in the current company I'm at now cause they are more relaxed. Relax as in, you can listen to songs while working (as long as you are able to respond when somebody is calling you and you do not disturb anyone) and browse around web for anything that you wanna see (things not necessary work-based...) BUT of course, you have to get all of the tasks assigned to you done (it's still working despite the flexibility)... So yeah, I'm still good... XD

hhhmm... Speaking of music, I'm facing a problem... I need a bigger storage memory card! The current memory card that I'm using for my hp has very small free space left! wail! T.T So can't put in too many new songs anymore~ I mean yeah i know that I have 180+ songs in my hp but still!!! There are like alot of new songs which I wanna download and listen to more~ >_<

I guess I'll stop right here and continue my work... X)

I have been exploring some Visual Basic codes recently...

It is applicable for communicating between 2 electronic devices and IF I managed to understand how the whole thing goes...

I can do ALOT of stuff... Yeah... A LOT!!!

BUT... Unfortunately, the codes are NOT as simple as they claim to be... wail! T.T

Allow me to describe the (crappy) "scenario":

Me : ok! *stares at the codes* *scroll up and down*

After 30 minutes...

Me : Why is this written like this? How come that have to be put in? Write it this way can be accepted meh?? Why ar? @_@

Code : ........... Unfortunately, I'm just your imagination so what I know is as much as what you know...

Me : T.T Why must you be so complicated?

Code : No... I'm not complicated... I'm the simple version of the code... zzz

Wail! If the "simple" version one is so hard... then the hard one ma... oh no~

Exchange program

Last year’s December, my sis joined the AFS where they organised and handles student exchange programs. She managed to go Japan for 2 weeks although there were alot of paper work involved and all… My mum was very busy and things were quite kalam-kabut that time… I was in KL when it happened so yeah, mum will sometimes call and complained to me… XD but then again, it was worth it with the fact that my sis managed to go on this trip without the need to spend alot…

So this time around… It is our turn to host a student from a foreign country… A girl from Italy, Veronica! She will be staying with us for 2 weeks… It was fun to have an extra member in the family alright! What’s more is that it is a she! XD So we have more to talk about and share~

Just last week, the whole family went to Cameron Highlands for a 2 days one night trip since V haven’t been there before… So off we go~ One thing, since there is an extra member in the car, the atmosphere is somehow more lively~ Even we have the mood to camwhore in the car! XD

Cool leh~

Went to quite a number of places in Penang as well during the other weekend~ It was fun, alright~ and just yesterday, Veron helped me to curl my hair! wee~ Love the volume created…

nice no~? (I mean the hair… ><)

It was fun~ She helped me with the hair last night… Was hoping that it may last until the next day but sadly, my hair is too stubbornly straight.. >_<

(readers might think : siao eh… some people have to spend $$ for rebonding and here she is, complaining that her hair is stubbornly straight?! =.=) Occasional change is fun~ =P

Anyway, she left this morning.. =( Although it was only 2 weeks, it was fun and memorable! X)

Last Saturday was fun~ Went over to Fitness First with Lucas and the rest... It was our outing… Unique location for an outing eh? =P Anyway, it was the Open Day for the fitness centre so members can bring as many guests as they want… So Lucas, being a member there suggested the outing~ X)

It was fun although I arrived an hr later than them… Got things to do before that… Anyway, the atmosphere is nice~~~ It felt very comfortable and all set for work out! >:D XD The bathroom was huge too! O.O pardon me for being a hill billy cause that was the first time I actually went over to a fitness centre for work out… ^^”

When I reached there, they had already attended a class… >_< but they wanted to attend one more so we went for the class that was scheduled next, Body Attack!!!

10 10 10! The class was tough! >_<

Like I said, the class was tough! Had not work out that hard since form 5 when I still undergo swimming training.. >_< But it was good, alright! My muscles felt alive!!!!

(yeah… they do felt alive on sat but after that, I suffered 2 days of muscle ache! T.T too old for aggressive work out d… ><)

It was tiring but with Chin Yang making all the funny funny poses during the class made us even more tired… tired due to excess laughter! >_< still, it was a good memory… XD

Went over the Steam Room for relaxation before bathing~ It was awesomely nice~ Can say that my eyes are more sparkle-ish (Cause I wore contact lenses.. =P) and my face is somehow smoother~ ^^

After gym, off to a nearby coffee shop for dinner~ and we chose a very “feng shui-ish” place to sit… =P

Like a g6~ like a G6~ =P

Later at night, went for a movie, World Invasion: Battle of Los Angeles, with my family… but I slp at the beginning of the movie… Had a bad headache that time… >_< So yeah… my very first time sleeping in the cinema!!!

The movie was overall ok for me… one thing I like is that it somehow conveys a message saying that we humans, despite the bad situation we still have the humanity in us which made us help one another and continue fighting!

Reviving my blog

Yes, I know I have abandoned my blog for almost ONE WHOLE MONTH… My sincere apologies for that… >.<

Been very very lazy to blog and also too busy to blog… One more reason to add is that I have to stare at the computer screen for 9 consecutive hours (minus the one hour lunch so its actually 8 hours with 1 hour break in between) for 5 consecutive days!!! @.@ Can say that I saw stars occasionally due to the long hours of staring at the comp.

Anyway, moving on… Well, let’s see… There’s nothing much going on in my life right now. Going through everyday with the same old routine… go work, go home, online, sleep… boring huh? Tell me about it… >.<

(just being extra sarcastic for this emoticon… =P)

But then again, last Saturday I did go out with Yan for lunch and movie~ X) Watched Beastly after having lunch at McDonald’s… It was fun although it was only the 2 of us… The rest cannot make it… =/

The movie was terrible if you are judging through the acting but nice if you are judging from it’s storyline… Overall, the movie portraits as the modern version of Beauty and The Beast (except the Beauty isn’t so beautiful >.< sorry to all the Vanessa Hudgens’ fans)…

Still, that day was fun… Had alot of talks and craps before dropping Yan home~ ♥ ^^

Chinese New Year~

Celebrating the Year of the Rabbit~ Year 2011! =)

Yeah! Happy Chinese new year to all of the Chinese out there! ^^ Have been very busy during these few days… Was eating and playing and crapping and eating and playing and crapping… XP

Can say that it was much more fun as compare to last year… Things did change but its for the better~ ^^

This year,

I had my Reunion Dinner at Butterworth instead of SP…

I played with fireworks after 5~6 years of not touching it~ ahh~ how it brought back the small cheeky kiddo in me…

Crapped and joked with my cousins while playing which made it even more FUN~

Then when the clock struck 12am on the eve of new years, there were tonnes of fireworks display which we (my relatives, cousins, family) watched with excitement! It was pretty~~~ ^^

Went over to visit my mum’s side on the 2nd day of CNY by giving my aunt a surprise! (Was suppose to celebrate her birthday together with my uncle’s but my mum lied saying that we’re going on a trip on that day… even I lied to my cousin… =P)

Then my family went for hotel stay~! wee~~~ XD

ONe more cool thing, I get to sing my heart out during the dinner with my mum’s side of the family!!! wahahaha! Although the variety of the songs are not as much as Redbox (mostly oldies~ around my mum’s generation…) it was still good~ XD

Played a few rounds of card games (without money) with my cousins and relatives before leaving for home~ X) Had a real fun time playing moneyless poker with my cousins… It was a good laugh! ^^ (although no money, not so chi kek aka challenging… teehee! =P)

Overall, I had a wonderful CNY~ ^^

I know I have abandon my blog for a very long time. >_< It can’t be helped when there’s no inspiration and nothing to blog about. Besides, I was being a couch potato these few days.

Anyway, I went out with my girlfriends on Friday for breakfast, movie and lunch~ Catch up with one another and had a great time~

Went for lunch at Bar.b.q Plaza~ It was newly opened at Gurney Plaza and Yan wanted to give it a try. Can say that I have went there twice when I was in KL and the food was delish~ ^^

One more good thing about it is that… 20% discount is given for students (flash your student ID!) everyday!!! From 10am to 5pm~

Mini Chocolate cupcakes~

A couple of days ago, I decided to bake cupcakes for this potluck that I’m having with my friends on Saturday. Can say that I have baked them before so I have some so-called experience in baking them. XD

New Year

First of all, I’ll like to wish all of you who are reading this… Happy New Year!!!! May you have a blessed year ahead!!! Blast it with joy, success and happiness! ^^

Can say that this is the first year aka first time celebrating it away from my family and my home. Celebrate with a whole new group of people, my housemates, in a whole new environment, KL. The thought of it splash me with a wave of emotions.

Year 2010 is really finally over and 2011 is already here. Time passed in a blink of an eye.

It felt like it was just yesterday that I entered college in KL…

It felt like as if I just entered college for the very first time awhile ago…

It felt like it was only last week when I saw my seniors coming back to college in Penang for their graduation… telling my friend, “we’re going to be like them in 2 years time. I wonder how it’s like?” and here I am, already graduated from Diploma, went for my very first convocation on June.

A lot had happened. May it be good or bad. But do I regret my doings in year 2010? I’ll say, no… I’m very glad to have live my life in year 2010 as the way it had been.

Live life the fullest with no regrets! ;)

End of a chapter

IN another day’s time, we’re going to bid 2010 farewell and welcome 2011. Well, since the year is about to end, I guess I’ll go through what I’ve done for this whole year then. XD

Can say that like everyone and every year, I’ve made some ridiculous mistakes, said things I shouldn’t have said, and hoped to turn back time to make amendments. >_< But anyhow, there are a few memorable memories and happy ones. =)

This year was the very first year I left Penang for KL. As in the very first time, I’m studying away from home. To be honest, I found it hard to adapt to this initially. With the new environment, new place to stay, new college life, new lecturer… Everything just seems so foreign and alien-ish to me.. >_< But after a while, I manage to adapt to it although I do faced mild depression at times… It’s nothing major to worry about… I guess its the homesick syndrome… XD

I remembered me missing McDonald’s alot when I first came to KL. Was so sloppy and not in the mood to study at home during the exam period. lols! Can’t blame me for I’ve been studying at McD for the whole 6 sems during Diploma. =P

Anyway, I was blinded by loneliness at a time that I did a mistake which was very absurd. Haiz. It didn’t last long so I guess I’ll just take it as a lesson to learn. Yeah, like they always say, a year older is a year wiser… Speaking of which, *ahem* *ahem*… I’ll be reaching the legal age to enter a casino soon!!!

I even planned to “video” the moment I step foot into the Genting casino. ahahaha… So much for being a hillbilly. XD But that was just some crap I came up with while chatting with my friends. Did say that I planned to celebrate it at Genting that year. XD

Talked about Genting, I finally get to go Genting and play after 13 years of not stepping foot into it!!! wee!!!!!! I’ll have to thank my coursemates for that… thank u~~~~ >o<

So I guess that’s all that I can remember for this year… The rest of those memorable memories are already penned down in my blog so I guess, there’s no point writing about them again, right? X) I mean if you wanna savoir your memories, savoir only the good ones, no? the bad ones? Just take them as lessons to learn so that it won’t be repeated again. They are not worth remembering. >:(

and as for new year resolutions? To be honest, I don’t have one cause I know I never follow them so I’ll just save me the trouble of creating one. ahaha! =P But I do have goals which I wanna achieve in my life so I guess, those will do just fine… XD

First of all, my sincere apology for abandoning my blog for some time. I did plan to blog every now and then but things just seem to get in the way. So here I am, updating it. Be prepared, for it might be quite a long one. X)

Well, yesterday (Monday) was the last French class for those who took the French Language (Elementary Level) course. It ended with our final exam which was the writing test! Oral tests were conducted a week ago. So yeah, after yesterday, no more French class for me anymore. Kinda missed attending the classes though as they were very fun! ^^ But then again, was quite relieve as well as I no longer need to stay back in college until 8.30pm twice every week. =) So there’s pros and cons to everything I guess..

Moving on to the next thing… I went over to Astro for a visit today, organised by I’m not sure whether its the EE society or my school… I didn’t get clear info on this… sorry! >_< Anyways, it was fun!!! XD we got the chance to witness DJs (or Radio Announcers) work live! as in you actually saw the word “ON AIR” blinking! lols. So much for being a hill billy. =P

Other than that, they (the people at Astro) gave us a short tour around the place, explaining about the functions of certain rooms and customer service. X) It was fun~ Manage to get the chance to go into a real studio! the ones where they shoot reality TV programs like Mari Menari from Astro Ria (the current program that’s airing).

Then, tomorrow going for the Social Network with yy and shir! wee~~~ that movie!!! finally! been waiting for it since I knew about it wei!! and tomorrow is the day…

And I can’t wait till this weekend!!! ^^ Cause I’m finally getting my limited edition Lunasol Party Coffret 2010!!! So happy!!! ^^ and and… more more presentsss!!! Will blog more detail about them after I have them. XD That’s why I said, this coming weekend is gonna be a good one!!! ^^

Just kidding! XD I didn’t spend a day with him (~~although I hope to~~!!! >_<) Anyway, last Saturday, 4th of Dec, my honey, Kim Hyun Joong, made his appearance in Pavilion to launch the new product of The Face Shop (he’s the ambassador of it… XD)… Liked I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I did try my luck on getting his autograph personally but sad to say, lady luck was not on my side at all!!!! T.T

So there I was, like every other unlucky fans, (~~let’s go sulk at a corner, shall we?)~~ cramp around the “fence” of the stage just to see my prince charming… Was standing there for an hour earlier! >_< Sadly, the moment his car arrived, me had been made into a can of Sardin! T.T The fans were shouting and screaming upon his arrival… not to mention, pushing (and it was hard alright!) !!! haiz… So much as to get the chance to see him in person!

Anyway, I did manage to take a few pics of him… Although most of them are only his back! We (yy and I) manage to squeeze onto that side of the stage only so that gave us a poor angle of him… =(

Went over to KLCC a few days ago to buy my dad’s present. Yeah, it was delayed sad to say cause I can’t think of anything that’s good enough for him as his birthday gift. One thing about my dad, he is very materialistic. So now you know where I got that from huh? Like father like daughter. =P

Anyway, I was thinking hard about this and did plan to get him a new wallet, belt or something like that but still, it was too common as in that’s what we (my mum, sis and I) got for him almost everytime. Except that it didn’t happen in consecutive years of course. XD

So, there I was brain storming for my dad’s present until my sudden inspiration hit me! which are… chocolates!!! XDD can say that my dad is a BIG fan of chocolates~ and what’s more tempting than a jar of the finest high quality chocolates for him to enjoy at home? not bad huh my idea? ^^V

Like I said, it’s a jar of finest high quality chocolates so straight away, that brand popped out in my head~ Godiva~~~ muahahaha~~~ heard of that brand before? no? click on the name to find out~ ;) ♥

So there I was, at KLCC, going into the store and bought a jar of it. It was kind of pricey but hey, what’s not expensive when quality stuff is concern? XD

Guess what people??? Kim Hyun Joong (the Korean actor who acted in Boys Over Flowers and the Mischievous Kiss) is coming down KL next month!!! woot!!! was so super duperly excited when I heard about this from CX!!! (thankies ah oon~~~ >3<)

He is coming to promote The Face Shop as he is its spokesperson~ So naturally, I zoomed towards that shop to see what are the T&Cs to be able to meet him in person~ XD

Went over there yesterday but the salesgirl who was entertaining me gave me the WRONG info!!! >_< According to her, she said that those who spent over an amount of RM50 will get the chance to be in the lucky draw for his poster with signature BUT she did not say that he will be signing it in person. She told me that that poster is pre-signed which got me really really disappointed! T.T

Somemore, she said that in order to meet him in person for signature, you HAVE to spend RM300 and above!!!! RM300!!! O.O I was like… *heart crashed* and AND the 10 lucky shoppers will be able to let him sign a special notebook (given as free gift) AND 3 lucky shoppers will be able to have the chance to take a picture WITH him!!! I was like… no~~~~~~

Anyway, I went over there again today since we were watching Harry Potter 7. Can say that I was in a dilemma whether to spend THAT much or not… was seriously freakingly reluctant! But at the same time, was very VERY unsatisfied that I did NOT try… So there I was, in the shop AGAIN… y.y. did suggest me to go for the RM50 one… she said at least there’s something better than nothing… She does have a point though, I thought. >_<

So in the end, I went for the RM50 suggestion like y.y. suggested and taadaa!!! surprise surprise! The salesgirl (another one) explained to me that 200 lucky shoppers will be entitled to get his signature by him personally on his poster which will be given on that day!!! I was like… really???? *happy!!!*

So here I am, already filled in my details and passed it to the salesgirl, hoping to be among the lucky 200 shoppers!!! omg omg omg~!!! I’m sooo freakingly excited!!! Hope I can really get it!!! It’ll be a dream come true wei~~~ ^^V

PS: harry potter 7 was awesome! Although it is only part1, the storyline did not disappoint me wei! Almost the same as the book unlike the previous ones… >_< Anyway, the story was kind of slow to me and boring but that was how it went at first… The suspense and action are all in part 2!!!! omg!!! can’t wait for it wei!!! ^^V

Honestly, I’m getting lazier and lazier to blog nowadays…. Nothing to blog about and also inspiration didn’t pay me a visit either… So yeah, I’d abandon my blog for awhile now… >_<

Anyway, last Thursday was the grand opening of Uniqlo~ Japan’s number1 apparel brand for winter wear~ It was opened at Fahrenheit 88 and was also the VERY first store in Malaysia~ cool eh? XD Since that day was it’s grand opening, they are giving away 1000 tote bags to the first 1000 customers and also the first 500 customers stand a chance to win themselves a trip to Japan~

So after I heard of the freebies~ my eyes began to sparkle… =P besides, alot of items were sold half price! thus, I’ve made it a MUST to go~~~ XDD So, I called up my “shopping kaki” and voila~ Thursday was booked.. XD

We went over to Fahrenheit 88 by 9.40am. By the time we were there, the place was crowded with people! The queue to go into the store was as long as the Great Wall of China! (ok, maybe I’m over exaggerating.. but still! >_<) We were like O.O when we saw what we saw… I mean, its only 9.40am and the queue was already so god damn freaking long!!!

But then again, who can resist sales and freebies? XP Anyway, we waited for 4hours plus before we were able to go into the store… and we were standing the whole time!!! >_< (readers’ thought : man, girls can do almost anything to shop huh?) =P The moment, we went into the store, we began hunting!!! It was so crowded that we have to queue up for the changing room and also queue up for payment! and mind you, the queue was super long! >_<

Still, it was worth the wait~ Bought a pair of pink skinny jeans (pink again… =P) and also a t-shirt with Chuppa on it! ^^ that t-shirt was the last piece when I saw it and thank god it’s a size M! haha… There were a lot of people who bought clothes two baskets full! O.O no joke! serious! When I saw it I was like…

Did had lots of fun shopping that day… XD BUT cheap meals here I come! Have to control my spending before my pocket went all high and dry… teehee! XP

BJT circuit~ >_<

Today was like any other Wednesdays I can say… But, there are a few little things which made it different somehow. XD Had a 3hours lab which we have to complete at least until the BJT experiment as the report’s due date is next week.

So yeah, there I was unhappily constructing the circuit. Why? cause I’m kind of lazy when it comes to this… and also, I hate the part where we have to know the resistance of the resistors by looking at the colour stripes on their body! Very very VERY lazy when it comes to that!

Anyway, after done constructing the circuit, I went over to another computer to test its results virtually through NI Elvis~ (according to my lecturer, the creator of the software is a fan of Elvis thus it was named after him… lols!) However, when I saw the output of the graph given by the software, I was like… oh… my… god… O.O the graph looked like some heartbeat of a patient who suffered from a MAJOR heart attack! I was like… no~~~~ T.T since the output is wrong, troubleshooting the circuit is the only solution… (which I dislike too! >_< cause you have to trace back your circuit and identify the error…) *faints*

After troubleshooting, I realised that all my capacitors are placed correctly BUT with wrong capacitance… The resistors are placed correctly BUT with wrong resistance… AND one of the components is opened circuit!!! So many errors! I failed badly as an engineer wei… >_<

But still, during that time, I was asked to be a camera model for some TAR College thingy…

So I guess it was not so bad after all~ XP wakakaka~

Vodka

Today I had officially tasted Vodka~ Had 3 glasses of it somemore. =P BUT of cause the 3 glasses that I had, are mixed with either Rootbeer or Sarsi. I wanted to try it without adding any extras BUT the taste is too awful to handle. >_<

Why I say so? Well, let me describe how it taste like… It tasted like nail polish remover. Seriously! You know the smell of nail polish remover? That’s exactly how it taste like minus the minty feeling. So yeah, it sucks!

Not just that, when you swallowed it down your throat, it gives you the feeling of thirst. Like the ones when you’re about to fall sick, your throat somehow gives a feeling of hollowness. Its like you still feel thirsty no matter how much water you consumed. Not just that, After taking it, you’ll feel all hot and sweaty. (No wonder the westerns often took these during winter)

So from today onwards, Vodka had been blacklisted by me! >_< I mean even red wine and Whiskey tasted much better! But still, I’m glad to be able to try it. At least I know how it taste like and also, I know that by taking 3 glasses, I’m still awake and can even blog while doing homework! yeah~ XD

Don’t get me wrong. I did NOT tried it in a club or pub. Nope, yours truly did NOT go clubbing. >_< Its just so happen that its the eve of my housemate’s birthday and one of us decide to bring a bottle of Vodka for the celebration. ;) And, the celebration was held at home with more than 20 people, guys and girls.

Even though I am still fully awake and not drunk, I am very sure that I’ll be having a very good sleep tonight. XP

The Liverpool Football Club shirt that I got for FREE!!!! XDD

How did I get it? Well, today the Liverpool John Moores University came to our college to brief our seniors about the Uni and the 3 months summer top-up program. It was held at the College Hall. Of cause, during these types of mini “fairs”, surely a station game will be organised.

So, since the university is located at Liverpool, they had this Fifa Football challenge on PS3! Can say that I hardly play PS (I do play sometimes depending on the games available… =P) and also I’m not a football fan either so generally, that game doesn’t interest me… well, at least at the beginning, not yet… XD I don’t even know what’s the price for the winner! haha…

It was until 3pm when we decided to go back to college hall to try our luck on the lucky draw… cause the first prize was an Ipod Shuffle! XD Unfortunately, lady luck was not on my side… >_< Kok Hong did get a LJMU mug though… =) Anyway, it was until that time when BK started asking Shir whether she’s interested in playing the challenge. It seems that until that time, no girls were able to score for a goal so the prize still remain standing.

So since the prize is still there, why don’t just give it a shot? I mean since there was no luck in getting the Ipod, might as well try for a 20GBP shirt instead… XD So Shir and I signed up for the game… and the rule is simple… Score as many goals as possible within the time frame given… While waiting for our turn, BK, Anson, CK and the rest started to teach us… what button is used for what function… Shir went first but didn’t manage to goal though… >_<

then comes my turn~ So there I was, while playing, all my Sifu-sifu’s started to teach me their ho liao (awesome) techniques… they were like “quick quick! press X!” or “fast fast passing!” “ok ok! dont pass liao… just carry the ball!” can say that during the whole game, I hardly concentrate, was more aware of their comments… lols! and before I knew it, they were like “har! sui sui! can goal it liao!” so I pressed the O button and GOAL!!! XDD

The moment I scored, I was like “Woohoo!!!” and had a big High 5 with BK… XD\the rest cheered on!!! I didn’t even realise that my time was not up yet! lols!!! Can say that there were 200++ girls who tried the challenge and I was the ONLY ONE who scored! wee~~~~ banzai to me~~~!!! =P

But of cause! majority of the credits goes to all of my Sifus! Without their skilful technique, I won’t have scored a goal d! XDD banzai to them!!! woot~! Damn happy today!!! ^^

PS : I think I’m slightly more interested in football now, thanks to this! XD

Class ended at 6pm today so went over to Wangsa Maju for dinner before heading for KLCC… =) The main intention of going to KLCC at first was to shop for a French dictionary BUT ended up going for a movie instead. Why? That’s cause the dictionaries are too freaking expensive that’s why! >_<

Our French professor told us that it only costs RM19.90 BUT the price that we saw over there was like ABOVE RM40! So of cause, none of us wanted to go for it (atleast I do NOT wanna go for it… call me stingy but I really don’t think its worth the amount spend…) Anyway, we went for Kinokuniya bookstore for the dictionary hunting so I guess that’s the reason that the books are pricey? no? O.o

Still, I did suggest going for a survey at a few more bookstores before regret buying it when it can be bought at a lower price elsewhere. The pain of that regret is unbearable so prevention is better than cure… XD

Since we planned to survey the price before buying it, that leaves us tonnes of time to “lepak” around so that’s when we suggest going for a movie instead! wee~~~ Ended up watching the Reign of Assassins… Y.y. and I wanted to go for The Other Guys but Shir doesn’t want so we went for this movie instead…

The movie was not bad~ the story is kind of nice and ooo~ it touched my heart~

It was worth watching~ but then again, it was not worth watching cause I found out that one of my housemates had the movie in his laptop! >_< there goes my RM13~

Anyway, while y.y., Shir and I were walking around the mall, we were practicing our French by repeating the words here and there then there was once where we were stuck with the words “je comprends” (translates as I understand) and “je ne comprends pas” (I do not understand)… At that time, it didn’t occur to us that a western guy was in front of us…

I guess we were talking quite loud and thus he turned and looked at us with this expression ---> O.o …

“You know how to speak French?” he asked… 3 of us, shocked and speechless for a second before I answered him “A little bit…” ^^” “That’s a good start” he responded and walks off…

The moment he was gone, we were acting like hill billies and kept saying oh-my-god!!! That guy actually listen to what we were saying??? Must be a French dude… and voila~ We were on that topic for as long as I can remember… lols! But still, seriously, he really caught us off guard… I mean, we didn’t expect anyone to know what we were talking about… Not that we were aware of… XD Still, it was cool~ X)

Yes, ppl~ Today was the first day of French class for mua~ how did it went? well, let’s just say that it had a very VERY challenging start! The moment the lecturer came into the class, he started speaking French!!! Thanks to that, there are question marks on EVERYBODY’s head… >_< BUT luckily he did talk with hand gestures so I was able to roughly catch what he says (although I’m not even sure whether my guess is correct or not!) I dare to say… the first half an hour, everybody was seeing stars~ *_*

It was seriously hard to try to understand… I mean, just imagine this scenario, a dog and a cat are trying to communicate with each other using their respective language… Yeah! that’s exactly how it was… and to make things worse, the lecturer speaks purely French! Not even English… >_< omg…

Anyway, it was good~ I dare to say its challenging… It felt like as if you have to break the Da Vincci code or something! But thanks to that, I was FULLY awake for the 2 and a half hours class. Seriously! I didn’t even yawn!

hehehe~ XD I did learn a few words of course~ and also, I realised that the spelling of the words and their pronunciations are totally different! So I have to scribble extra notes on how the words should be pronounce by the side…

Overall, it was good~ I can say its a whole new challenge to me and I’m all out to face this!

ps : To be able to help a close buddy by giving TONNES of encouragement and positivity really can cheer me up! ^^ It’s like, it work two ways…. While I was helping him, I helped myself as well by feeling more positive and cheerful! thanks, bro! and all the best to you there! You’ll be alright with her, k? I don’t know why but it got me thinking… I know this will sound kind of lame but continue to read on before judging… =)

Have you ever wonder… Who am I? I mean… that question pops up in your head sometimes… Does that ever happen to you? Since people always ask you to be you but the problem is who is the real you?

For example, my case, I am a daughter, I am also a sister, I am a student as well as a friend… So really, who am I? Who is the real me? What I’m trying to say here is that… Our personality change when we are playing different roles… Of course you don’t expect to go all wild and out like when you’re with your friends during exam period isn’t it? Cause that time, your major role will be as a student and as a student, your main aim is, of course, to score good grades. In order to get that done, it requires concentration and self-discipline which thus, makes you somehow, strict. So if that’s the case, are you saying that you are not being yourself during exam? No, right?

Can say that while I was in NS, they have self-actualisation lessons like this and thus it somehow got me thinking once in awhile. =) So what do you think? Who is the real you? O.o To me, in every role you play shows the real you. It shows the you for each and every situation you are in. Like in front of your parents, you are all good and angelic but when you are with your friends, all sorts of nonsensical ideas tend to pop up in your head and you become more mischievous. Right, no? ;)

So I guess that you are being you all the time except that you adjust the way you see things which got you changing your personality in every distinct situation faced. Personality is changed in order to allow you to fit into the situation like a right piece of puzzle. Thus there is no such thing as not being yourself, it is always you but with different personality which sometimes you don’t feel comfortable with.

I think, my opinion, you are always being you but sometimes you don’t like the personality that you are in that’s all… But then again, life isn’t easy and doesn’t suits you all the time so can’t complaint much isn’t it? Just faced it up and something better will be on the way! In every dark cloud there is a silver lining~ believe in this idiom cause it’s true… So when you are down and out, tell yourself that the best is yet to come. =)

ps: This is my way of thinking and I believe not everybody will agree to it. So if you don’t like what I write, just ignore it then. I was just thinking out loud that’s all. =)

lols… It’s translate as hello, everyone in French… XD well, here’s the news~ Yours truly is taking an extra subject this semester!!! (like my 6 subjects are not enough to drive me crazy already! <(>_<)>)

Anyways, I’m taking French language~ wee~~~ surprised? beats me… lols… I actually plan to go for Jap BUT (man, I hate this word at times… <(>_<)>) the class is already full!

So I have no choice but to go for French instead (~~don’t like Korean Language~~ at all so that option was kicked out from my list)… Can say that I was in a dilemma whether to apply for this subject or not at first cause like I said, I already have 6 subjects to worry about for this semester so I was wondering if an additional subject is a ~~bad~~ wise option.

Anyway, my friends managed to persuade me (they are always good at it…>_<) into taking it in the end so yeah… French class~ here I come! Since I’ve already signed up for this, so I guess ~~the only thing I can do~~ now is to give my all into it, right? So that the extra $$ is worth spending~ =)

(I’m still reluctant about this now though… my money~~~!)

Still, from what I know, the lecturer is a French dude~ a.w.e.s.o.m.e.!!! XD I mean… it’s not like you get to meet a French to teach you French on a weekly basis right? Imagine this statement :

“I’m learning French taught by a French dude while eating French fries”

lols! =P

So I guess, I seriously have to have proper time management for this semester before I ended screwing everything up! That’s the last thing on Earth that I want… <(>_<)> yeah, proper time management and thus tonnes and tonnes of workload to keep me busy busy busy~!!! X) Its good to go for a change in life at times… =)

ps: I don’t know why but the word “French” gives me the feeling of the colour blue~ =)

Anyway, I have Broken up with him a few days ago...

I know... It sounded so soon right?

Sigh~ I did hope that this one will last longer but ended up, it's the shortest among all!

ps: I guess for some who don't really know me, I bet u all will be wondering.. "how many times has she been in a relationship?! O.O"

I ain't gonna answer that though... =P

To be frank, it's so short that I'm not even sure whether to consider him as my ex or not... =.=

I mean.. We did have sweet memories together during those times but still... 2 months?!

Can say that alot of our friends are shocked with the news... (They too did not expect this to happen so soon...) well, join my club... giving up was the least expected thing...

Both parties are at fault when a breakup happens... There is no such thing as its ALL my fault or its ALL YOUR fault...

Anyway, I did try to patch things up but they just seem to be falling into deaf ears though...

I was seriously hurt with the thought that he constantly rejecting me while I was there trying to inject some positivity into him... So in the end, I give up as well... Cause, I know it's the best option for both of us now... I don't wanna be his burden, too...

To be honest, I was kinda glad that this happen before we go for Jogoya~ Cause in this way, he won't have to spend extra for me thus lighten his pocket weight... =D Not just that~ it happen before things get complicated and all…

Don’t get my meaning wrong… I did not wanna break this ok? This was not what I wanted but since it had happen, I guess I should just continue on by looking at the positive side of it, isn’t it? =) I mean, honestly, I find it VERY hard to let go at first… I even felt that he did not give me a chance to correct myself!

But to think it from his perspective, it’s better that way for him as he won’t feel so crappy… I admit, I don’t know him long enough to fully understand him… So I’ll lend him a helping hand by not creating anymore unnecessary problems for him… =) Take it as a silent helping hand… =)

I know its been a very VERY long time since I last blog, can't blame me though... blame laziness!!! =PP anyway, today is the 2nd day of the second semester... How was it? erm... its bad!!! Cause I got drag back to group B again... instead of maintain at group A so I was separated from him and my Penang classmates... There are only 3 "Penangnites" in the group that I'm in now... <(>_<)>

(note: Penangnites by meaning those who came from Penang branch... X))

Anyway, at first I thought this problem can be solved by swapping with people from the class that you wanted BUT (man, i hate this word sometimes... =.=) we are not allowed to swap or change class anymore!!! and it's an ORDER from the head of school...

I was like no~~~~~~ <(>_<)>

but since it's an ORDER, there's nothing that can be done about it isn't it? so... no choice... just accept it the way it is... T.T

However, on the bright side, the time table for this group is good~~~~ ^^ XDD

cause... the earliest class is 9am (unlike some, they have 8am class) and and and.... there are 2 days which classes start at 2pm and 12pm!!! wee~~~~

later time = sleep more and fb more~~~

So can't say it's all bad isn't it? hee~~~~ =D

but... we already have an assignment for us d... and it's only week1! T.T

It’s a must read for the guys who are in a relationship: A girl needs to be appreciated. Allow yourself to drawn back into the past, back to the times when you have your eyes set on her before you two were an item. You can’t help but to notice her each and every move. Now, she is finally your girlfriend. A girl will always think for the sake of her guy. She always worry that he may be too tired or spend too much on her thus, she mostly won’t bug him into taking her out to expensive dates and fun. However, have u ever realize? When she says no to all these temptations, there is a little hope in her that you’ll do it. She knows it will waste your money and cause you more fatigue but she is still a girl. Which girl on Earth will not want to be pampered, right?

Anyway, since she said no, guys will just let it be and that it’s not necessary, too. Even so, she won’t blame you for not pampering her, she won’t get mad at you although she’s disappointed. However, during special occasions, you DO have to remember it by making it memorable. Like sending her a bouquet of flowers on your anniversaries, have a romantic Valentine’s Day, a little unexpected out-of-the-blues Christmas special, etc. At that time, you will be able to notice that even though she said she doesn’t mind not having all these fancy, memorable, romantic surprises, when she receives it, the excitement and the joy you bring to her is beyond words to describe.

Thus, it doesn’t mean that after she is successfully yours, you no longer need to shower her with love and care like you used to when you were wooing her.
So if you love her, try to put more effort on her. Don’t just spend your time on her, try to understand her, know what is it that she needed most, what is her inner voice – what she wanted to say but kept quiet about it instead. All these might sound tough and impossible to have it done but as long as there is determination in you (guy) then they can be realized. At that time, you will also realize that every move she made, everything she did resembles her love for you. So do treat her with sincerity and be more attentive to her before she gave up on you and walk out of your life. At that time, it’ll be too late to regret.

To be able to fall for somebody who feels the same way is not easy thus love is not about wanting somebody to pamper, it’s something which can only work if both parties chip in the equivalent effort. So when you have finally found “the one”, the girl who will give without expecting a return, her happiness is in your hands (in short, responsibility is yours to hold.. I’m sounding retarded). Anyway, Now I understand why I was called a “kayu” last time cause I always get things done only after the girl speaks out. I guess this approach shows that you do not care enough for her and that you do not bother to take the initiative to actually understand her.
